Meet at Tokyo Station
Please meet us at Tokyo Station. Look for your guide holding a sign with the tour name. It’s easy to find, but feel free to arrive early in case the station is busy.
10:00 - 13:00
Transfer to Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture.
We will travel from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station by Shinkansen. From Kyoto Station, we will continue by train to Asuka Village.
14:00 - 15:00
Soy sauce workshop experience.
Make a one-of-a-kind soy sauce! An English explanation will guide you through the process of how soy sauce is made.
15:30 - 17:30
Guided cycling tour.
Join a cycling tour while your guide introduces the historic kofun (ancient burial mounds) of Asuka Village.

Arrival at the accommodation.
Stay at a traditional Japanese inn and unwind in a warm, home-like setting. Enjoy a local hot pot meal, a specialty often served in Asuka Village.

Sunrise trekking tour.
During the early morning trekking tour, your guide will introduce the village’s history, followed by a delicious breakfast. Having breakfast amidst the beauty of nature is sure to be a special and unforgettable experience.

Dress in historical Japanese costumes and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Japan.

Transfer to Nara City.

Todai-ji Temple
Todai-ji Temple is one of Japan’s most iconic temples, featuring the Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall), one of the largest wooden structures in the world. Despite being damaged by repeated fires and natural disasters over the centuries, it has been rebuilt through the devotion of the people. Todai-ji is also recognized as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara.”
