    Meet your guide at Tobu Skytree Line Asakusa Station Front Ticket Gate

    Once you exit the ticket gate, you’ll be in a spacious area. Walk straight ahead after passing through the gate, and you’ll see a large waiting area on your right. This is the meeting point. If you have trouble finding it, just follow the signs in the station, and you’ll be able to easily locate the area. It’s easy to find, but feel free to arrive early in case the station is busy.

    Explore Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street & Lunch on your own

    Learn about the temple’s history and try omikuji (fortune slips) Discover traditional snacks and souvenirs. After a short introduction by your guide, enjoy free time to explore the historic Asakusa area at your own pace. Walk through the famous Nakamise Shopping Street, lined with colorful stalls selling traditional snacks, souvenirs, and handmade crafts. Don’t miss the chance to take photos at Kaminarimon Gate and Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most beloved temple. When you're ready, head out for lunch on your own at one of the many nearby restaurants. From ramen and tempura to wagyu beef or matcha sweets, there’s something for everyone.

    Make Your Own Japanese Food Sample(Tempura&Lettuce)

    Then it’s time for something playful and creative: a hands-on Food Sample Making Experience! Visit the famous kitchenware district of Kappabashi and craft your own food replica. With the help of expert instructors, you’ll create detailed models like Tempura and lettuce using melted wax and colorful materials. It’s a hands-on activity that’s fun, surprisingly relaxing, and great for photos. You’ll leave not only with a new skill but also a unique handmade souvenir that looks so real, you might just fool your friends back home!

    After the food sample workshop, the tour officially ends in front of the shop in Kappabashi. Feel free to continue exploring the Kappabashi Kitchenware Street on your own—there are plenty of unique stores filled with Japanese culinary tools and quirky items. If you prefer to return to Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Shopping Street, or Asakusa Station, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace!   • Restrictions
    • 1st and 2nd grade elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult for safety.
    • First grade elementary school students and up can take a class in the Kappabashi store.
    • For safety reasons, no admission for preschool children.
    • No alcohol is allowed before the class for safety.
  • What to Bring
    • No need to bring anything, we will prepare necessary items such as aprons and paper bags.
  • Additional Info
    • This tour begins at Asakusa Station, and all destinations are reached on foot.
    • Contents: Traditional wax technique will be used. 2 tempura items. ( choice of shrimp, eggplant, pumpkin, shiitake mushroom, etc. ) and 1 lettuce.
    • We use hot water for making. You will put your hands in hot water. ( Need to roll up your sleeves.)
    • If you have nail art with 3D elements, there is a possiblity that wax may get into the gaps between the parts.
